Pawel Kupiec (b.1977, Bialystok, Poland) is a Chicago based artist, working mainly in the medium of drawing and painting. His work is rooted in observation, often involving discarded and manipulated objects presented in a new context. Alumni of the SAIC and IU Bloomington, he has taken part in shows internationally and throughout the country.
